(Dossier) HIROKI Ryuichi

Pour ce premier dossier consacré à un réalisateur, j'ai choisi de parler de HIROKI Ryuichi. Il n'est certes pas le plus connu ou le plus aimé des réalisateurs contemporains, mais sa carrière reflète parfaitement l'évolution de la production cinématographique japonaise et son parcours est assez identique à celui de nombre de réalisateurs maintenant reconnus. Peut être HIROKI a-t-il juste pris le temps d'évoluer à son rythme sans laisser de coté ses thématiques favorites comme son attirance pour le SM.
Le dossier n'est sûrement pas complet. Il manque, je pense, quelques films. Mais vous avez tous qu'il est assez difficile de retracer la filmographie d'un réalisateur qui a œuvré avec acharnement dans le pinku eiga au milieu des années 80. En espérant que cela vous plaise quand même.
For this first focus on a director, I really wanted to speak about HIROKI Ryuichi. He is obviously not the most famous or loved of contemporary directors, but his career is a kind of perfect reflect of Japanese movie industry's evolution in the past 30 years, and is also similar to several now acclaimed directors. Maybe HROKI had just taken the time to evolve at a different rhythm without putting aside his own beloved thematics as SM.
This focus is surely not exhaustive. Some movies, imho, are missing. But you know it's sometime hard to track down all movies of a director who has worked in the 80's pinku eiga era. Anyway, I hope that you will find interesting stuff in this focus.
Note for any English friendly reader who may ground here: despite what this introduction might suggest, the focus will not be entirely translated in English. My English level is not sufficient, so only pitch and conclusion of my reviews will both be in French & English. Sorry !
